The Best £7.00 I Have Ever Spent
Posted January 25th, 2012 by adminI always try to look out for good stories and this thread on Redditt really caught my eye. It may be embellished somewhat, or be totally factual, but it got me thinking – what’s the best £7.00 I’ve ever spent?
Of course, it depends on how far you want to go back but I think I know what mine is. Twas the night before Christmas (seriously), when all through the house – not a creature was stirring and… Here’s how I spent my £7.00…
I love quality time with my family and Christmas Eve is always special to us. I sat flicking through the local paper and a really great film was showing at my favourite cinema, the Electric Cinema, the UK’s oldest working cinema.

The Electric Cinema
Due to start that very Christmas Eve evening was ‘A Wonderful Life’… I just couldn’t resist booking a ticket. The Price? £7.00.
Of course, I couldn’t go alone. So I booked three further tickets, for my wife and two daughters, each costing an additional £7.00 each ( I know I cheated a little bit there).
A Recipe for Happiness
So here’s my formula for happiness:
My Family + Christmas Eve + The Electric Cinema + A Wonderful Life = The Best £7.00 I have ever spent.
What’s yours?

My stories almost identical to that one on reddit,it was awhileback and i saw this guy who looked-froze-to-the-bone. He was not exactly begging but he looked a right state and smelt quite bad. I was hunting around in my pocket for some loose change and only had a fiver note. Well i had a choice to pass on this guy or give him my last fiver-i gave him the money. i never felt so good as that day i gave my last money away – giving is living. charity + peace.JAY

Hey, just like to say that I’m really pleased with your shop, great incense and gifts.
Yes. Love Jimmy Stewart in that film. Got to be the best Christmas film ever.
