Crafty Jungle Customers are the Best!

So Why are You the Best Customers Any Company Could Wish For?
Because when we asked for your help – you gave it to us – and boy did you give it to us! On Friday 13th (could have been a disaster eh?) I sent out an email asking why you liked us and what improvements we could make, and as a result we received some AMAZING replies – dozens and dozens of them – and all on Valentines Day!
I’d like to share some of the good stuff – and the not so good stuff - with you, because we’ll be acting on them starting today.
Here’s What you Love About Us
You love the range of products and incense sticks, particularly the Wild Berry Incense, the way our website is clear and easy to use, our great customer service (we do slip up occasionally – we’re not perfect by any means). You also like the free postage and packing and lots more… Here are a few extracts of the kind words you said -
“I buy from you because the incense sticks are so lovely, they burn well and smell delicious.”
“I usually buy a big batch of Wild berry Incense from your site each month, its great to be able to get it at a good price and with free post and packing.”
“I always return to you for incense as you stock the widest range of Wildberry incense that I’ve found online. You are also very quick with delivery times, your prices are good, and your communications are always friendly.”
“When I have spoken to someone over the telephone (to give credit card details) the standard of customer care is very good.”
“Well… the site is great in itself. I was drawn to stay rather than go to others as it was ‘laid back’ in approach… and its very simplicity makes me stay and come back to be honest!”
“I first bought your products while on holiday in Cornwall. The product proved their worth at BBQ evenings and was the first contact I had with your product.”
“I buy from you because I love Wildberry incense and will not burn other makes, it’s not easy to come by. Most new age shops stock Nag Champa and the usual stuff, but I have my Wildberry favourites.”
“I searched for insence cones on the internet and after browsing through several companies decided on crafty jungle, decided on them because of the variety of products.”
“I mainly buy your lovely josssticks. They cannot be found anywhere else I look. I am very happy with the prompt service on line or if I have rang up, people have been helpful.”
I’ll stop there because there were a ton more positive replies I could have shown (but I don’t want to bore you to death). Now… Just so you know that we take your replies very seriously – this leads me on to the not so good bits…
Here’s What We Could Do Better
You were so very kind to us even when we asked what we didn’t do so well. But hey, we don’t claim to be perfect and you gave us some great tips and ideas to improve -
“Perhaps more tealight holders, and a few more types of incense holders… that’s all I can ‘feedback’to be honest!”
CJ Reply: Watch this space. We’ve got plenty more tea light holders and incense burners ready to go online – we hope you’ll like them.
“When I first shopped you, I found a screen that gave a brief description of each flavour of incense stick, but last time I shopped with you, I couldn’t find it.”
CJ Reply: A great idea, we did have a detailed description of the Wild Berry fragrances on the old website – so return it shall!
“Another idea would be to do a mystery pack of 20 mixed flavours for example – that would be fun. And you could also include a couple of free sample shorties (or longies) of flavours not included with every order over a certain size to tempt people to try something they might not ordinarily order.”
CJ Reply: Love that idea. Look out for the NEW Wild Berry Mystery Pack coming to the CJ store soon.
“I would be prepared to sample/test a product and then make a judgement as I have done with the “Passion Myrrh” x 10mls”.
CJ Reply: That’s a really good point and we’ll look at including some samplers on future orders for customers.
“One small complaint I have is that the delivery times have got quite slow. It used to arrive in 2 maybe 3 days max. Now it can take a week.”
CJ Reply: Ouch! But thanks for letting us know and we’ll be keeping an eye on delivery times to get them out in 48 hours max where possible ( then we rely on the post office to do their bit… hmmm).
“Maybe a button to either add the site to customers favorites/bookmark, may help.”
CJ Reply: So simple, yet we forgot to add one to the new site – thanks for reminding us as we’ll get one put on there.
“I buy hand made products from a website such as perfume, massage oils, creams etc which I would say were similar to the things you sell. Also a bigger selection of jewellery.”
CJ Reply: Wow… you must be a mind-reader. We’re currently in talks with a supplier of quite fabulous jewellery so we’ll keep you posted.
“There a 2 things which I have a problem with – the ink on the plastic bags that the sticks come in runs all over the place. I think sticky labels would be a better idea. And when ordering it would be really good to be able to multi-select the items and then tell you the quantity rather than having to go backwards and forwards into the site to choose my next fragrance…. does that make sense???”
CJ Reply: Perfect sense. The power of the incense oils makes most pens we’ve tried run, but we’ve just ordered a batch of ‘super-duper, this won’t smudge on anything’ indelible ink pens – problem solved. We’ll also test out the option for customers to stay on the current page after an order of a single item.
All of your comments were gratefully received (we just didn’t have space for them all) and we really appreciate you taking the time to tell us what we can do to improve. The website will also be getting some new aromatherapy oil burners, scented candles, soy candles, dinner candles and incense holders (phew… I’m going to be busy).

Hey, we had such a good time going through all your good ideas and improvements that we don’t want it to end here. We’ll be notifying you of all the updates for the website here so do check back again each time you visit the Crafty Jungle website (we update at least once a week).

one more thing….forgot to say how about leather wristwear and wooden beaded bracelets etc..that type of thing alwaysmuch appreciated and bought in alternative shops..can never resist them..especially unusual ones
